Hard to find Phrag Hanne Popow orchid, blooming size, makes lovely pink
flowers.
A colorful besseae hybrid, nicely started. NOT in bloom now.
Hanne Popow is one of our favorite phrags, an easy to grow orchid that
produces charming pink flowers tinged with white.
This
primary cross is Phrag besseae x Phrag schlimii.
These are in 4-inch pots. We think you can expect flowers in 12 to
14 months or so, probably sooner if properly grown. These have several
growths and a leaf span of 15 inches or more. We'll pick out a nice one
for you.
We have seen some of these bloom when
still rather small.
We have a bunch of these orchids and we always ship the largest.
Phrags are easy to grow. Just provide bright indirect light and lots and
lots of water. This is one orchid you can water every day. Fertilize
weakly twice a month or so. Repot annually. Do NOT allow mature plants
to dry out between waterings.
Use distilled water now and again to wash away any salts that build up
in the mix from the use of well water or tap water.
