Miltoniopsis Lillian Nakamoto pansy orchid large seedling
Will make white flowers, with dark red, almost black centers
Easy to grow, keep moist
Also called The Pansy Orchid
This orchid is somewhat hard to find. It's called Miltoniopsis Lillian Nakamoto and it puts out stunning white flowers with dark red to almost black in the center and some blush pink on the petals.
The breeding on this clone is Miltoniopsis Lorene x Miltoniopsis Lynne Waihee.
These orchids stand 11 to 12 inches high measured from the bottom of the pot. Likely to flower in about 24 months. Each has a nicely started single growth in a 3-inch pot. Freshly repotted.
Miltoniopsis orchids are cool growers. Often called "The Pansy Orchid," many of them have a wonderful fresh fragrance. For home and hobby growers, we recommend them as a house plant. Just give it moderate indirect light, water thoroughly three times a week, fertilize weakly every two weeks. Provide a temperature range of 60 to 75 degrees or so. Good air movement helps. These do very well under lights.
