Great windowsill plant
Seedling size, NOT in flower now
These orchids are native to eastern and central Madagascar, where they grow in moist forests with somewhat cool, fairly dry winters.
The flowers can be nearly as big as the plants, much like the more well known Angraecum sequispedale.
Ours are in two-inch pots, and some are already throwing spikes. We'll ship one like that if we can find one, but no guarantees. Expect one flower per inflorescence.
Grow in relatively low light, watering when almost dry, very like a cattleya.
Keep between 55 and 85 degrees. Fertilize once a month, with a weak, well balanced fertilizer.
If you're into species, this is a good one to add to the collection. We have a bunch of these and we'll pick out a nice one for you.
You can buy with confidence.
We guarantee customer satisfaction on arrival.
